1. Project Content
The project is divided into two phases, with a total planned construction area of 335,000 square meters, primarily including the following projects:
Phase I: Bihua Pavilion, Baozhi Temple, Guanyin Temple, Famen Temple, Kabba Temple, Six Harmony Temple, Nantian Gate, Courtyard, Yangjiao Street, Fire Protection Station , the comprehensive facilities building area is about 170,000 square meters.
Phase II: The full complement of the Daxiong Palace, the Avalokitesvara Hall, the Thousand Buddha Hall, the Piyuba Hall, the Temple of Heaven, the Temple of the Tibetan Scripture Hall, the Zhongxiao Temple, the Yong'an Bridge, etc. Auxiliary facilities, with a construction area of about 165,000 square meters.
2. Project progress
The first phase of the project started in June 2012 and was completed and opened to the public in March 2017. At present, the second phase of the project is under construction, with 60% of the engineering volume completed. It is expected to be completed and opened to the public in 2023.

4. Function description

(1) Religious function: Completed the restoration of the millenniumold temple and built Buddhist halls such as Bihua Pavilion, Guanyin Temple, and Daxiong Palace, making it a new religious and cultural center in Central China's Henan Province.
(2) Cultural function: Collects and displays a large number of precious Buddhist scriptures and cultural relics, builds a largescale Buddhist library, and holds largescale Buddhist cultural exchanges and communication activities regularly.
(3) Tourism function: It has become a major tourist destination in Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists to visit and worship.
(4) Leisure function: Complement the functions of the Central Plains Botanical Garden and the Yellow River Scenic Belt. It can provide the public with leisurely viewing, rest, entertainment, and fitness.
